Warnings
Small beads and embellishments are for making your craft project look fabulous and not for:
Eating!
Throwing!
Giving to small children.
Chewing.
And anything else a rascal would use it for!
Up cycling
……
The day comes when your lovely gems arrive, it’s so exciting! You rip open the recycled packaging, in double quick time and notice they have arrived in a small plastic container. You can always use the container to store your embellishments but if you dont, what are you going to do with the container?? THROW IT AWAY I hear you yell! Well yes you absolutely could, or even put it in the recycling….. but there is another way…..you could up-cycle it and use everything for something new!
Here are a few of our ideas:
Use the container to store other small craft items or buttons.
Make a TV out of the container for your Sylvanian Families.
Reuse the plastic as material for your next craft project.
Upcycling your embellishments
Don’t forget, if you get fed up of your craft embellishments (as we all change our minds from time to time!) donate them to a family member, a friend or to your local charity shop. Don’t forget to ask an adult if it’s ok!
